What will our universities be like in ten, twenty years time? How will they be funded, how accessible will they be and how will they be affected by Brexit? These and many other issues will be debated by our expert panel: Stefan Collini, Professor of Intellectual History and English Literature at Cambridge University and author of What Are Universities For? (Penguin) and Speaking of Universities (Verso); writer and academic Marina Warner, who has written for the LRB on the current state of higher education; David Willetts, Conservative member of the House of Lords, who as an MP held the position of Minister for Universities and Science from 2010 to 2014; and Dinah Birch, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Impact and Professor of English Literature at the University of Liverpool.
