With an Italian mother and half Greek half Corsican father, Dino Joannides spent his first years in Italy before moving to the UK. Over the last 30 years he has traveled and eaten all over Italy in people’s homes, simple trattorias and the finest restaurants.

He is the author of Semplice: Real Italian Food (Cornerstone Publishing), a cookbook that takes different elements of Italian cooking and explores their origin and provenance, exploding myths and expounding facts along the way.
