'The two essential pieces of training for all booksellers are to watch 84 Charing Cross Road and to read Zweig's Buchmendel.' – David Lea, Deputy Manager at the London Review Bookshop

When New York bibliophile Helene Hanff writes to the staff of Marks & Co, an antiquarian bookshop located at the eponymous address in London, she sparks a correspondence that spans two decades. Directed by David Jones, this adaption of Helene Hanff's epistolary memoir features Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins in some of their most affecting and understated performances.
