London Review Bookshop

Our next Late Shopping Evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday 3 July, combines several of the Bookshop’s strongest preoccupations: bees, books, brews, and ITV mystery drama.

Bill Anderson, director of several Lewis episodes including the pilot (where Lewis is assisted by the ghost of Morse) and the one where Joanna Lumley falls in the macerator, will be in the shop signing copies of his book The Idle Beekeeper: a wonderfully-written, lively case for low-intervention beekeeping.

Our Cake Shop manager, Terry, will be serving a boozy honey tea made from Bill’s own honey (or a St Clements if, like Lewis, you’re driving), plus an expertly chosen cheese pairing.

There’ll be 10% off all books purchased on the evening. ‘Bee’ part of the ‘buzz’ at the LR ‘Bee’ Bookshop.
