Feminism, Interrupted: Lola Olufemi & Momtaza Mehri

Fully Booked
London Review Bookshop

Although our events programme is on hold at the moment, we’re delighted that Lola Olufemi and Momtaza Mehri could get together virtually to produce this written exchange in lieu of the planned event.

Black feminist writer, organiser and activist Lola Olufemi will be in conversation about her book Feminism, Interrupted: Disrupting Power (Pluto). As feminism enters the mainstream of political thought and social action, is it in danger of being diluted? Olufemi argues the case for a radical feminism, divorced from consumerism and the state, which might become a liberating force for people of all genders and of none.

She will be discussing her work with poet and essayist Momtaza Mehri.
