Garth Greenwell’s first book What Belongs to You was hailed as ‘an instant classic’ by the New York Times for its lyrical exploration of gay desire and longing. Its sequel Cleanness (Picador) revisits Sofia, the location of What Belongs to You, and has been described by writer Eimear McBride as ‘An unbearably wonderful, eloquently sexual, thoughtful, emotional delight of a novel’.
Greenwell will be reading from his work, and discussing it with the novelist Tash Aw.
