Paul Muldoon: Howdie-Skelp

To mark the paperback publication of his latest collection Howdie -Skelp (Faber) Paul Muldoon was at the shop to read from his work. Author of fourteen collections and winner of, amongst other awards, the Pulitzer and T.S. Eliot prizes, Kit Fan wrote of him in the Guardian ‘Very few poets, living or otherwise, can combine high-speed wit, tongue-twisting alliteration and dizzying rhyme with the kind of insight that makes us pause, laugh, remember; feel envious, out of breath, punch-drunk.’
