Four Favourite Poetry Podcasts

Our poetry section is the one of the best around and we have been lucky to have been visited by some of the most interesting poets going. At the beginning of the year, Danez Smith (who went on to win the Forward Prize) read with Kayo Chingonyi. A little while later saw a stunning reading (featuring snatches of light opera) from Kaveh Akbah and Richard Scott; then a rare UK appearance from Hera Lindsay Bird reading with Jack Underwood. And in June, Martha Sprackland presented a cracking night of poetry from Offord Road Books poets and others: A.K. Blakemore, Victoria Adukwei Bulley, Amy Key and Zaffar Kunial.
