Novelist and memoirist Michèle Roberts’s French Cooking for One was a huge hit with the reading, cooking and eating public when it was published just before Christmas 2024. In its sequel French Cooking for Two: Seasons of Friendship (Les Fugitives) Roberts presents seasonal dishes calculated to foster and enhance friendships, combined as ever with enlightening anecdotes and reminiscences of memorable meals.
