Gruff Rhys

Gruff Rhys is a musician, film-maker and writer. He is the lead singer of Super Furry Animals, half of the electro-pop duo Neon Neon, and has produced three solo albums.

He is the author of American Interior: The Quixotic Journey of John Evans, His Search for a Lost Tribe and How, Fuelled by Fantasy and (Possibly) Booze, He Accidentally Annexed a Third of North America. Also existing as an album, a film and a multimedia presentation, the project documents his journey in the footsteps of his distant relative, the pioneering explorer and cartographer John Evans.
