Sheila Fitzpatrick

Sheila Fitzpatrick is a historian and academic. A recognised expert on modern Russian history, much of her work has focused on Soviet social and cultural history, particularly everyday practices and social identity. Her most recent book is Mischka’s War, an account of her husband Michael Danos’s experiences as a displaced person in Germany in the 1940s.

She is a contributor to the London Review of Books.
