William Henry Searle

William Henry Searle is a poet and writer whose work draws on personal lived experience, seeking to interweave the natural world with the human. In 2014, Searle was awarded a fully funded PhD in Creative Writing and Environmental Thought from Royal Holloway, supervised by Sir Andrew Motion. His narrative non-fiction writing has appeared as lead articles in magazines and journals in both the UK and the US, including Bellevue Literary Review, Earthlines, The Trumpeter, The Wayfarer, The Resurgence and Ecologist. He divides his time between the wilds of Snowdonia and the woodlands of the New Forest, exploring, writing and wood carving.
