Author of the Month: Iain Sinclair

Selected by the Bookshop

We’re delighted to announce that our Author of the Month for June is good friend of the shop and incomparable chronicler of London’s hidden histories Iain Sinclair, who celebrates his 80th birthday this month. Although best known for his London writings, his subjects have ranged far more widely, from his native Wales to Peru, and combine poetry, luminous prose, mythology and a frankly frightening erudition to produce a body of work that is utterly unique. Have a look at some of his books here, or come and meet them in person on our dedicated Sinclair table at Bury Place.
